A equipe de produção para Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, o novo anime Ghost in the Shell da Netflix, divulgou, nesta quinta-feira (12/03), novas imagens dos principais personagens do anime.

Com animação pela Production I.G em colaboração com a Sola Digital Arts, a direção é de Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) e Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed), o design de personagens é de Ilya Kushinov (The Wonderland). A música é de Nobuko Toda (Sweetness & Lightning, The case files of Jeweler Richard) e Kazuma Jinnouchi (Busou Shinki: Moon Angel). O tema de abertura será “Fly with me” pelos millennium parade.
Sinopse:
Em 2045, uma unidade de elite da polícia japonesa conduz operações cibernéticas secretas após o colapso do capitalismo global.

Ghost in the Shell é um mangá de influências cyberpunk, criado por Masamune Shirow. A série rendeu uma continuação, intitulada Ghost in the Shell 2: Man/Machine Interface, que foi lançada em 2002.
A Production I.G produziu os filmes Ghost in the Shell e Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, de Mamoru Oshii, em 1995 e 2004, respectivamente, bem como o anime de televisão Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex de 2002 e sua sequência de TV, OVAs e filme. Em 2013, a produtora adaptou o material prequel ao OVA em Ghost in the Shell Arise, que posteriormente virou uma série de televisão. Mais recentemente, o estúdio lançou Ghost In The Shell: The New Movie, em 2015, e o Ghost in Shell VR Diver para smartphones, em 2017.
